This weekend and the Tumblr platform
Hey guys - hope you all had a good weekend. It was my grandpa’s birthday and I got a bike and new skis (deal of a lifetime). I wasn’t planning on getting the skis until James told me that Sports Chalet was having a 50% off sale on their 07/08 ski gear, so I headed over to investigate. Turns out they were having a 50% sale on their clearance prices. So I got a pair of Nordica boots that...

McCain suspends his campaign
People are tweeting up a storm about McCain suspending his campaign and how he’s using this as an excuse to not debate Obama on Friday. CNN story is here.

4) i like when people on the internet tell me how ignorant i am.
They may have lost their jobs, but you lose at life.

tomorrow morning
i don’t have much invested in stocks (and it’s all in the vanguard fund), so the drop in the market shouldn’t hurt me too badly tomorrow (no filing for bankruptcy).
that said, i think the whole situation is ridiculous. why did the fed bail out bear stearns and not lehman? it reminds me of delta airlines getting a bailout and not pan american airlines. i’m sure there are...
